A Groovy Dance Party!

I had heard of this new thing called Baby Loves Disco...a disco dance party for babies and young kids. When we had one in town, I just had to take Eliot. It was a blast...they had a DJ, bubble machines, dance contests, face painting and organic kid friendly snacks!

An Adventure in Pigtails and Frosting

It was a momentous occasion at the Walker house when we realized that Eliot has enough hair for pigtails. Who cares if it is just barely enough? Anyway, It takes a good while to get them in and they're out again before you can snap your fingers, but it is worth it for those few seconds of cuteness.

We took a family outing on my birthday to a local cupcake eatery called Crave. It was fun and the cupcakes are all so pretty!

Look how "enthused" she is about her pigtails...this was a few seconds before she pulled them out.

A Visit from the Hollands

Wynne's sister and her husband came into town for a wedding so we got to spend a good part of the weekend with them. We had a great time and hope to see you guys again soon!

Eliot has been saying "cheeeeeeese" for the camera. Here we caught her mid-statement:

Eliot and her Aunt Nina looking at the alphabet together:

Don't you love "my" new guest room??
We were out at Pottery Barn and Eliot saw this bed and fell in love with it. We'd take her down and she'd hop right back up. I think the salesperson was not so keen on her faux sleeping though, b/c he mosied over and recommended that we check out P. B. Kids...Oh well!

A Trip to Fort Worth

We went to Fort Worth mid-July for Mimi's birthday...she had a great birthday dinner celebration and we took a family picture after dinner:

We spent some time playing J.R. and Nina's Wii - especially the bowling game, which was a big hit. Lynda beat Janina at boxing, which I should have gotten a picture of, but was too enthralled in the match. Next time, maybe!

Wynne took Eliot for her first bounce on a trampoline:

Andy, Rachelle and Elizabeth came over for a quick visit while we were in town:
